Overview

Our Jaffna tour packages mainly include the North East coast while also covering other main tourist attractions in Sri Lanka. Make it a point to travel to Jaffna, the second most popular commercial city in Sri Lanka before the war which is once again rapidly developing in terms of infrastructure and community after 2009, which marked the end of the war. The Jaffna tourism industry offers many attractions for travellers and it is a historically significant city that is well worth a visit. Trincomalee is a famous harbour since ancient times which is also known for its magnificent beach area that attracts a lot of visitors from April – October.

Duration

The package is originally designed for 11 nights/12 days. But we are always happy to cater to our valuable clients’ requirements and therefore, it can be customized for different durations as per request.

Tour Overview

Day 01 - Arrival | Negombo

Boat Ride in Negombo, Sri Lanka
Our representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to a beach hotel in Negombo. In the evening do a city tour of Negombo and go for a boat ride on the Dutch Canal.

Day 02 - Negombo | Anuradhapura

After breakfast proceed to Anuradhapura. An ancient kingdom which is a major tourist attraction in the Cultural Triangle of Sri Lanka. Enjoy a city tour of Anuradhapura in the evening.
Overnight stay at Anuradhapura.

Day 03 - Anuradhapura | Jaffna

After breakfast proceed to Jaffna. Evening at leisure.
Overnight stay at Jaffna.

Day 04 - Jaffna

After breakfast start the city tour in Jaffna.
Overnight stay at Jaffna.

Day 05 - Jaffna | Habarana

Proceed to Habarana after breakfast via Dambulla. Visit Dambulla Cave Temple and check in to a hotel in Habarana.

Day 06 - Habarana

After breakfast go for an elephant back ride in Habarana. Then proceed to a village closer to Habarana for a trekking excursion to get the real experience of a typical Sri Lankan village. You will be having a traditional village lunch there with some villagers. Then in the evening visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
Overnight stay at Habarana.

Day 07 - Habarana | Minneriya | Trincomalee

After breakfast proceed to Trincomalee via Minneriya. Visit Minneriya National Park for a jeep safari.
Overnight stay at Trincomalee.

Day 08 - Trincomalee

Do a city tour after breakfast in Trincomalee. Visit Pigeon Island, Koneshwaran Hindu Temple, Hot Water Wells and other major attractions during your visit.
Overnight stay at Trincomalee.

Day 09 - Trincomalee

A leisure day and overnight stay at Trincomalee.

Day 10 - Trincomalee | Kandy

After breakfast proceed to Kandy and visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in the evening.
Overnight stay at Kandy.

Day 11 - Kandy | Colombo

After breakfast visit the Royal Botanical Gardens and do a city tour of Kandy. Then proceed to Colombo where you are free to go for shopping and sightseeing.

Day 12 - Departure

After breakfast proceed to the airport for departure.
